When deciding where to retire in the U.S., you may conduct an internet search for the places where a decent percentage of the population is retired. Living among fellow retirees is a smart move. You needn’t get deep in your search for popular retirement hubs to find the hottest of hotspots like Naples, Florida, or Scottsdale, Arizona. But what about St. George, Utah? Or Hemet, California? Using data from the U.S. Census Bureau’s American Community Survey, Extra Space Storage found the 25 cities with the most people who are 65 years or older. Below are eight you may not have heard of before and should have on your radar if you’re looking to relocate in retirement.
