A second-quarter industry survey from the National Association for Business Economics has found that employers grew their payrolls for a second consecutive quarter this year at a rate of 31 percent, which is a significant increase from the 6 percent increase from the same period last year.
In the same survey, 84 NABE economists who work for private-sector firms and industry trade associations noted that while the pace of the economic recovery slowed in the second quarter, they expect to see about 39 percent of companies add employees over the next six months (CNN Money).
