Overall, used car prices are down an average of 3.6% from this time last year, but some car models have gotten more expensive despite the downward trend. These cars are largely premium and performance models.
“These models all appeal to relatively affluent buyers, suggesting this segment of consumers remain willing and able to pay higher market values to get the used vehicles they want,” Karl Brauer, executive analyst at iSeeCars, said on the site.
