Luxury travel hotspots typically cost you an arm and a leg to get to, but flights to certain high-end locations are expected to be cheaper in the coming year. According to a new report from Dollar Flight Club, the main reason flight prices to luxury destinations will cost less in 2025 versus 2024 is due to more competition.
“Low-cost carriers have been pushing into major markets and legacy airlines are responding with more competitive pricing with bare-bones basic economy fares,” the report stated.
“On top of that, we’re seeing the tail end of post-pandemic stabilization where airlines are adjusting capacity, which impacts pricing,” the report continued. “All in all, these changes mean that travelers eyeing historically expensive destinations can expect some good deals in 2025.”
Here are three luxury travel destinations you’ll be able to fly to for less in 2025.
Paris
Getting to the City of Lights may be more affordable than you would think. Dollar Flight Club reports that round-trip flights from New York’s JFK airport are now as low as $326 — a 15% drop from last year’s $384.
London
Flights to London will also be cheaper in 2025. The average cost of flights to Heathrow Airport are $296 for 2025, reflecting a 20% price cut compared to last year’s $370 average.
Miami
If you’re seeking out a domestic luxury trip, Miami is the go-to. The average cost of domestic flights to Miami is $108 this year, a 25% drop from last year’s $144 average.
