Scott Wilson is a Los Angeles-based writer who has worked in sports media for more than 30 years. He graduated from Rutgers University and began working at newspapers in New Jersey while still a student there.
He covered college football and college basketball for The North Jersey Herald and News, specifically Rutgers and Seton Hall on the Division I level and Montclair State and William Paterson on the Division III level. He also wrote about national college sports and was selected to vote for the Heisman Trophy and the John R. Wooden Award during that time.
He covered the NFL, the NHL, the UFC and boxing at FOXSports.com, serving as both a writer and editor for those sports.
During his career he has reported from the Super Bowl, the Final Four and the Stanley Cup Final.
