Overview of Pottery Barn Credit Card

Here’s a detailed look at the highlighting features of Pottery Barn’s credit card.

The Pottery Barn credit card comes in two variants: Key Rewards Card and Visa. All cardmembers receive 5% in cashback rewards on online and in-store purchases across Pottery Barn’s seven brands, including Williams Sonoma, Williams Sonoma Home, Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids, Pottery Barn Teen, West Elm and Mark & Graham.

Meanwhile, Visa cardmembers earn 4% in rewards at grocery stores and restaurants, excluding fast food. They also get 1% rewards on everything else.

When you use your Pottery Barn Key Rewards Card at any of the seven brands for the first 30 days after getting your card, you receive 10% back in rewards. Additionally, Pottery Barn gives $25 as a birthday reward to all its members, whether Key Rewards Card or Visa.

Versatility of Use

You can use the Pottery Barn Key Rewards Card at the seven brands under the company. Cardmembers also enjoy free standard shipping on Williams Sonoma purchases.

Meanwhile, Visa cardmembers can also earn rewards by using their card at restaurants and grocery stores. Although this is an attractive offer, it does not extend to fast food chains.

Online Setup

Applying for the Pottery Barn credit card is simple. Go to the website and sign up with your email address, then you will be able to select the card you wish. Choose “Continue to My Application” to begin the process. Since the credit card is supported by Capital One, you can sign in on Capital One’s website to pay your credit card bills.

A shortcoming in this regard is the lack of a phone app. Unlike banking apps, Pottery Barn does not have an app for you to manage your credit card or pay your bills.

Although there’s no annual fee on the Pottery Barn credit card, the Key Rewards card has an APR of 24.99% to 26.99%. Plus, there’s a fee of up to $40 for late payments.

Good To Know

Besides applying online, you can also apply for the Pottery Barn Key Rewards credit card at any Williams Sonoma Inc. store in the United States. The accounts are issued by Capital One.

Who Is It Best For?

The Pottery Barn credit card is best for people who frequently shop from the company’s seven brands. If you dine out often, you could opt for the Visa card that rewards you at grocery stores and restaurants.

Final Take

The Pottery Barn credit card is an ideal option for people who shop from the company, think they can earn substantial rewards or want to take advantage of free shipping on Williams Sonoma purchases. The APR is high compared to some other credit cards, but if you pay your balance in full each month, this shouldn’t be a problem.
