18 Cities in the World Where the Biggest Companies Are Headquartered

The locations of companies that generate billions and trillions of dollars aid economic growth and global diversification, earning public recognition as a reward. This is especially important if they’re located in cities outside the West as that helps increase global appeal and awareness. 

Mckinsey reported that the number of the biggest companies in emerging cities will triple by 2025. This is quite the case though it looks like only a few cities are controlling global wealth as of recent. According to this GOBankingRates research, the United States is the top host of the biggest companies’ headquarters with other emerging cities following behind. 

While these cities may not be up to par with the U.S. in terms of several companies, they’re certainly pulling in their own weight, especially with their largest company’s market cap. Yahoo Finance also reported that China has generated about $6.1 trillion dollars from its company headquarters.
