The U.S. President Donald Trump announced new tariffs of 25% on imported cars and car parts, including vehicles from Canada, Mexico, and Europe. The tariff took effect on Apr. 2, immediately raising costs for automakers that rely on foreign manufacturing. 

However, after a successful trade deal with the European Union, the tariff rate on European vehicles was reduced from 25% to 15% starting Aug. 1, according to Reuters. While this gave a much-needed relief for both automakers and consumers, some vehicles have seen a dramatic price increase, and while others experienced modest drops. 

Here’s how much these popular European cars have gone up or down in price since April.
