Even though Barbara Corcoran can afford to indulge in the finer things in life, the “Shark Tank” star still lives frugally and saves money.
Here’s why Corcoran — named by GOBankingRates as one of Money’s Most Influential Women — said that she doesn’t ever fly first class.
Barbara Corcoran’s Frugal Habit
Flying first class often means extra personal space, better dining options and other travel perks. But Corcoran doesn’t believe these tickets are worth the extra money,
“I never buy a first-class plane ticket,” she told GOBankingRates. “I feel pretentious and can’t justify the extra expense, so I travel coach.”
However, Corcoran still elevates her travel experience affordably.
“I always pack a little picnic with a pretty cloth napkin, cheeses, salami, crackers and fruit,” she said. “I pick up a small bottle of Sauvignon Blanc once I’m through security and have myself a gourmet lunch!”
