No Thanksgiving host wants to overspend on Thanksgiving dinner.
With the December holidays right around the corner and the overall increase in daily expenses, hosting a giant Thanksgiving dinner can unfortunately threaten to break the bank, especially with hosts on a budget.
Here’s something to give thanks for: the retailer Aldi is offering a Thanksgiving bundle that will cost shoppers under $50.
Find out more great deals the grocery chain is offering for Thanksgiving.
The Savings To Be Thankful For
Announced by Aldi in October, its annual Thanksgiving dinner basket will cost only $47 — the lowest price offered by Aldi in five years.
The dinner, which can serve up to 10 people — meaning it comes in at roughly $4.70 per person — is available at Aldi from now until Wednesday, November 27.
“The meal delivers on the traditional, crowd-pleasing favorites that guests crave without the sales, coupons, minimum purchase requirements, loyalty cards, and other hoops required to save at traditional grocers,” per the grocery chain’s press release.
Rather than scour the internet for deals and stop at multiple stores, an Aldi shopper can get everything need for a hearty Thanksgiving dinner party in this single basket.
What Do You Get in This Bundle?
What comes in this almost too-good-to-be-true basket?
Premade items include a butterball turkey with spices, gravy, rolls, mac and cheese and stuffing. Further, it includes ingredients to make cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, and — the big finale to any Thanksgiving dinner — pumpkin pie, of course.
Forty-seven dollars for all of the above is about as great a deal as any would-be Thanksgiving host will be likely to find in 2024, and should fit snugly within any holiday shopper’s budget.
If nothing else, less than $50 for a joyous holiday dinner amongst friends and family is indeed something to be thankful for.
