Over the last several months, President Donald Trump has repeatedly floated the idea of eliminating America’s income tax, and instead generating revenue from tariffs. While critics argue that policies such as tariffs would not bring in the same amount of money as federal income taxes, Trump has continued to suggest the idea as a possibility — most recently suggesting no taxes for people making under $150,000.
Given that income tax rates vary across America, the elimination of federal (not state) taxes would benefit the populations of some states more than others, most obviously with regard to their paychecks. In the following 10 states, workers would receive a higher percentage added to their paychecks than any other states in the country. Did your state make the list?
