Did you know that you could save money without sacrificing the quality of your life? While some frugality tips could be frustrating to implement since you have to make radical changes, the good news is that there are minor changes you could make to see instant results in your bank account.

Rachel Cruze shared a video explaining how you can cut $100 from your monthly spending without impacting your standard of living.

1. Limit The Streaming Services You Sign Up For

Most of us have signed up for too many streaming services over the years as new ones have been introduced. If you want to save money, you’ll want to start by finding a streaming service you no longer use since you may have forgotten about the accounts you’re paying for.

What can you do to save money here?

  • Review all of the different accounts you’ve signed up for. Chances are that you’ve signed up for various services over the years to watch a program.
  • Find a service that you no longer use. There’s only so much time in a day, and you can’t possibly watch every possible program you’ve heard of.
  • Try to cut two streaming services to save $30 from your monthly budget. You don’t have to eliminate service since the goal is finding two you don’t care for.

2. Cut Down On Food Delivery Services

Cruze stated that the average American spends about $150 monthly on food delivery fees. You can spend an average of $13 in delivery fees for each order. Just by picking up your take-out meal yourself four times per month, you can save up to $52.

3. Stop Drinking Bottled Water

Cruze mentions how the average household spends $20 monthly on bottled water. You can save money by purchasing a reusable water bottle and drink filtered or tap water instead. You don’t have to pay a premium for bottled water.

Closing Thoughts

You may surprise yourself with how painless it is to save money because a few minor tweaks could add an extra $100 to your monthly budget. While you may not save a fortune with these minor changes, every dollar adds up, and it’s important to build momentum when it comes to money management.
