6 Cars With the Best Cash-Back Deals in December 2024

Shopping for a new car before the year ends? If you’ve already secured a low financing rate, you might be on the hunt for vehicles with outstanding financial incentives.

GOBankingRates scoped out the car models with the best cash-back deals this December, as well as a few additional financial incentives worth checking out. As a quick pro tip to know before you shop, remember to check in with your local dealership to determine whether they’re currently participating in these offers. Keep reading to see which six cars have some of this month’s best deals.

A Mazda representative reached out to GOBankingRates with details about the current incentives on the 2025 Mazda CX-70 PHEV. Now through Jan. 2, 2025, buyers purchasing the 2025 model are eligible for a $1,500 incentive cash offer. According to the fine print on the Mazda website, this offer must be applied as a down payment toward purchasing and financing the 2025 Mazda CX-70 PHEV.

The same model is currently running a purchase offer of 0% APR for up to 36 months. Members of the military may qualify for $500 bonus cash toward the purchase or lease of a new and unused 2023, 2024 and 2025 Mazda vehicle. For those interested in leasing instead of buying, a $7,500 lease customer cash offer is available on the 2025 CX-70 PHEV through Jan. 2, 2025.

The 2025 Mazda CX-70 also has several notable financial incentives of its own. Purchase offers include $1,500 incentive cash (available only for Turbo S Premium and Turbo S Premium Plus models) and $1,000 customer bonus cash. The latter offer is specific to CX-70 Turbo S Premium, Turbo S Premium Plus trims and all CX-70 PHEV vehicles. Both offers end on Jan. 2, 2025.

For those who would like to lease this model, they may be eligible for $1,000 lease customer cash. This offer is available on 2025 Mazda CX-70 Turbo S Premium and Turbo S Premium Plus trims only.

Now through Jan. 6, 2025, a $2,000 customer cash deal is available on the 2024 and 2025 Toyota Tundra models. This offer applies to all trims. 

As the fine print for this offer reads, it’s recommended that buyers visit their local participating Toyota dealer for more details.

Well-qualified buyers of the 2025 Volkswagen Jetta may be eligible for several incentives this month. Among these is a $1,000 customer bonus, depending on your state of residence, which expires on Jan. 2, 2025. 

If you’d rather shop for the 2024 Jetta, see whether you qualify for this model’s two special programs. One is a $500 bonus for recent college graduates. These graduates must have proof of employment and need to buy or lease a new, unused vehicle through Volkswagen Credit. The other program is a $500 military, veterans and first responders’ bonus — and proof of documentation is required. Both offers end on Jan. 2, 2025, and are valid nationwide.

The Nissan year-end sales event is currently underway and the 2024 Nissan Altima model has $1,250 bonus cash available on its purchase and lease. Please note that this offer excludes the S Trim and ends on Jan. 6, 2025.

Now through Jan. 2, 2025, there are three featured offers available on the 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4-Door Sport model. 

These offers include a $4,500 total bonus cash allowance and a financing offer of 6.9% APR that is available for 72 months. Current owners or lessees of Ford vehicles also may receive $2,000 as a bonus cash allowance in addition to current incentives.
