Over the past year, we’ve been reporting on how buyers can save money buying luxury cars by highlighting models experiencing massive price drops. However, some models experts recommended to us came with the caveat they “might” drop in price during varying seasons throughout the year.
So, which luxury cars actually did become more affordable in 2025? We dug through our reporting to find the top five luxury cars are cheaper to buy in 2025 than any other year.
Mercedes-Benz EQS
Shoppers seeking an affordable luxury electric vehicle (EV) would be wise not to pass over the Mercedes-Benz EQS.
One key reason why this luxury car is experiencing a major price drop is the end of the federal EV tax credit. According to Car and Driver, prices for the EQS sedan have been cut by $4,410 and upward to $15,300 for the EQS SUV for the 2025 and 2026 model years.
Lucid Air
The Lucid Air is another luxury EV that was predicted in July 2025 to get a price drop, due to having too many cars in stock and an overall soft demand.
By September 2025, CarsDirect had reported that Air leasing prices had been cut by 5%. This was the second price cut conducted by Lucid to the model in under 30 days.
Jaguar F-Pace
The Jaguar F-Pace was anticipated to receive price drops this summer for its luxury SUV, but the savings could be found sooner if you knew where to look.
An in-depth January 2025 article from The Autopian linked to various Jaguar Land Rover dealerships across America with steeply discounted F-Pace models on their lots. Click any of the links and you’ll receive the same message: This car is no longer available.
Porsche Macan
Predicted to drop in price this summer, the Porsche Macan is noteworthy for being generally one of the cheapest Porsche models available.
Compared to the Porsche Taycan, with an MSRP of $101,395 to $231,995, the Macan’s MSRP is well under six figures at $64,895 to $76,495.
Maserati Modena
While a few Maserati models were name-dropped as potentially getting cheaper this year, we neglected to shout out the Maserati Moderna which costs less compared to last year’s model.
Cars.com reported the 2025 Modena, estimated at $77,995, was $2,000 cheaper than its 2024 model.
