ChatGPT stated that the Chevrolet Bolt EV is its top choice because it’s “one of the cheapest EVs you can buy (especially used).” The 2027 Bolt has a starting MSRP of $27,600.
It isn’t flashy. It has a simple design that makes it easy for people to get in and out of. But what really makes this a great option for retirees is that it typically requires low maintenance. Knowing you won’t have a lot to worry about beyond preventive maintenance will help put your mind at ease.
While the Bolt doesn’t have an extremely long range, it’s perfect for your daily commuting needs.
