Homes, we’re sorry to report, will only continue to cost more in the near future. According to data found by real estate agency Zoocasa, median home prices in 15 U.S. cities will reach $1 million or more by 2035.Â
Zoocasa determined cities where median home prices will increase to $1 million by analyzing median single-family home prices and their average increases between 2014 and 2024 in 22 metros. From there, Zoocasa used the growth rate to predict when these prices would reach $1 million. Nine of the cities mentioned in this roundup are projected to reach the $1 million mark by 2031, putting them ahead of schedule by four years.
