The report found that the average transaction price for new EVs was $56,328 in September, down 0.5% month over month.

While that’s higher than the average transaction price for all cars — $48,397 — thanks to incentive offers, it’s possible to lease an EV for comparable or even lower prices than gas-powered vehicles.
