MINI USA is known for its unique compact cars that pack a big punch. In 2025, it’s released a lineup of new models you’ll want to drive right off the lot. MINI opted to replace front-wheel drive on many of its models with all-wheel drive, which is useful off the beaten path and makes handling easier. You’ll also see some electrified versions of your favorite MINIs alongside improved horsepower.

Better yet, many of these models don’t have an exorbitant price tag and fit many budgets.

If upgrading your car is on your to-do list this year, you’ll want to consider these new and improved 2025 MINI vehicles.

Also see four affordable car brands you won’t regret buying in 2025.

2025 MINI Countryman S

  • Starting MSRP: $38,900

MINI fans who want more space than the MINI Cooper might choose the 2025 MINI Countryman S. Compared with the previous Countryman, this one comes with all-wheel drive instead of front-wheel drive — making it easier to take it off-road and handle through rough weather conditions.

Safety features like lane-departure warning, blind spot detection and front collision warnings add a layer of protection to your drive. Plus, there’s an enhanced 9.4-inch round OLED display with AI voice assistance.

The horsepower on the Countryman got an upgrade since last year too. Although the MINI Countryman had a plug-in hybrid variant in 2024, MINI opted to release a fully electric version for this year.

2025 MINI John Cooper Works Countryman

  • Starting MSRP: $46,900

With sportier touches and a bit more power, the 2025 MINI John Cooper Works Countryman has higher horsepower, a red and black color-scheme interior, and sports car features that the standard MINI Countryman lacks.

It reaches a top speed of 155 mph and goes from 0 to 60 mph in 5.2 seconds. The wheels are larger at 19 inches with racing-reminiscent red calipers to show off the sport brakes. The 312-horsepower engine delivers on MINI’s legacy of high-performance driving.

Although this version of the Countryman comes at a higher starting price, the luxe sportscar feel might be worth it for you.

2025 MINI Cooper S Convertible

  • Starting MSRP: $37,200

Think about the day you can finally drop the top and feel the wind while you zip down the open road. With the 2025 MINI Cooper S Convertible, that day could be closer than you think. Earning the No. 3 spot on Kelley Blue Book’s top 2025 convertibles list, it goes from 0 to 60 mph in 6.7 seconds and packs a punch with its 201-horsepower engine.

The 2025 model got an upgrade from last year with the 9.4-inch OLED display and an AI voice assistant. Unfortunately, if you were looking for a manual transmission, you’re out of luck, as MINI makes them only with automatic transmissions now, but the improved torque and horsepower easily make up for that.

2025 MINI Cooper S 2-Door

  • Starting MSRP: $32,200

Today's Top Offers

Unlike other compact cars, the 2025 MINI Cooper S two-door doesn’t skimp on features that make it feel bigger on the inside. Between the eco-friendly sport seats, circular OLED display, panoramic moonroof and premium sound system, it certainly doesn’t feel mini.

Although the price of this car is slightly more than your typical compact car, it’s still relatively budget-friendly with a starting MSRP of $32,200. When you keep in mind that it comes with complimentary scheduled maintenance for three years or 36,000 miles (whichever comes first), then paying a little more for a quality car becomes more cost-effective.

2025 MINI Cooper S 4-Door

  • Starting MSRP: $33,200

When the two-door MINI Cooper won’t cut it, the 2025 MINI Cooper S four-door can provide more accessibility. This car even made No. 5 on Kelley Blue Book’s top 2025 hatchbacks. It not only is one of the more affordable MINIs, starting at just over $33,000, but also gets great fuel economy with a combined 32 mpg.

The abundance of safety features takes some of the stress out of your commute while the panoramic moonroof grants you the option for extra fresh air with the durability of a hardtop. You’ll zip through traffic with go-kart style handling paired with the 201-horsepower engine. The only downside is there’s no option for a manual transmission.

2025 MINI John Cooper Works Convertible

  • Starting MSRP: $43,700

The performance of a MINI John Cooper Works with the freedom of a convertible? Sign me up! The all-new 2025 MINI John Cooper Works convertible combines the best of the both worlds. It’s a pricey choice at $43,700 for the base model, but the specs might convince you that it’s worth it.

With this sporty convertible’s 228 horsepower and 280 pound-foot of torque, you can take it from 0 to 60 mph in 6.2 seconds. The racing style interior is sleek with red highlights and sports car finishes. Much like the other new MINIs, this one also has the large circular OLED display, AI assistant and remote engine start to level up the convenience.
