If you’ve stopped trying to keep up with tariffs, you’re not alone. However, current or looming tariffs may impact product availability — and prices — at Aldi, so you might want to tune back in.

Tariffs on goods from certain countries are already in place, with a July 9 deadline set for a 50% tariff on the European Union, according to CBNC. This can make now a good time to stock up on the following Aldi items, in case of tariff-induced product shortages.

Bananas

  • Price: 17 cents per pound

Healthy and budget-friendly, bananas sold at Aldi are imported. Guatemala, Ecuador and Costa Rica are the top three countries the U.S. sources this fruit from.

Fresh Broccoli and Cauliflower

  • Price (Broccoli Crowns): $2.15 per pound
  • Price (Cauliflower Crowns): $3.25 each

At Aldi, fresh broccoli crowns are imported, while some cauliflower crowns are grown domestically and others are imported. It’s unknown where the imported vegetables are sourced from, but Mexico, Canada and Guatemala are the leading suppliers of fresh broccoli and cauliflower to the U.S.

Season’s Choice Frozen Strawberries

  • Price: $4.39

A freezer essential, this 24-ounce bag of Season’s Choice frozen strawberries could become scarce, as it’s sourced from both the U.S. and other countries. Mexico, Chile and Peru are the leading suppliers of frozen strawberries to the U.S., so you may want to keep an eye on their tariff situations.
