When it comes to buying groceries, sadly, you don’t always get what you pay for. Some stores charge a premium for mediocre goods, while others charge low prices for food items that aren’t even worth the discounted cost. To help identify the savviest places to grocery shop, MarketForce conducted a panel study of more than 4,300 shoppers and asked them to rank how well grocery stores’ prices met the quality of products sold. These are the grocery retailers that came out on top when ranked by perceived value for the dollar, as reported by The Kitchn.
