Summer will soon be upon us, and with warmer weather and a steadily increasing vaccine rollout, many more big-name companies are opening up their hiring again, including in-store positions that were not available at the height of the pandemic in 2020.

Some companies offer remote positions, as well, as employees who have spent the last year working from home demand more flexibility. These jobs are not all full time, either, with part-time options available. Many companies entice employees with juicy benefits, from 401(k) plans to paid time off and bonuses. Check out the 10 companies on this list that are hiring new employees.
Ace Hardware
Ace Hardware, a major hardware retailer, has a number of jobs, both in person and remote, depending upon your location. Some remote jobs include territory representative and district manager. A territory representative works closely with these retailers to improve sales through reviewing product assortments, evaluating current product performance and making recommendations. Typical pay for this role is around $54,000/year though it can go up as high as $98,000.

The online distributor of almost anything you can desire is hiring warehouse team members for $17.25 to $20.75 per hour. Though these jobs are mostly in person, they come with benefits such as a 401(k) and paid time off.
UPS
The United Parcel Service (UPS), which delivers millions of packages around the United States, has a variety of jobs open. Such jobs include package handler (at the warehouse), part-time jobs consisting of 20 hours per week or fewer; data entry positions that require a minimum of typing 30 words per minute, with expected take-home pay of up to $170 per week; and part-time package center supervisor, a job that comes with benefits, including a 401(k), discounts on stock and vacation pay, among other perks.
Albertsons
The company that owns not only Albertsons grocery stores but also Safeway, Vons and Jewel-Osco has numerous job openings. From an entry-level job in floral service at Safeway to a grocery clerk at Vons to personal e-commerce shopper for Safeway, there are a variety of part-time and full-time jobs that run the gamut of skill levels.

One of the leading pharmacy and healthcare providers in the U.S., CVS Health has a variety of jobs available, both in-store and remote. Customer service representatives can work from home and earn up to $45,000 per year with only a high school diploma and a year of customer service experience required. Benefit verification representatives can earn up to $52,000 per year.

Big-box home improvement store The Home Depot has jobs available both in-store and remote. In-store options include customer service and sales, which come with healthcare options, profit-sharing bonuses and even tuition reimbursement. Analysts for online category experiences can work from home, so long as they have one year of similar experience and good analytic skills.

For folks pursuing pharmacy degrees, Walgreens offers summer pharmacy intern jobs that pay between $14 and $25.50 per hour, so long as you are enrolled in a pharmacy program. Other jobs include customer service associates, photo specialist and assistant store manager trainee.
