Some of these trucks have been tried-and-true favorites for years, while others are newer to the scene. As of July 2024, these are the six best-selling trucks of 2024 — with number one being the highest — according to Kelley Blue Book.

6. Ford Maverick

• Total units sold: 77,113
• Starting price: $23,900

A new compact truck that debuted in model year 2022, the Ford Maverick offers versatility with two rows of seating. Using front-wheel, drive the turbo unit has a combined 25 miles per gallon, while the hybrid version touts a combined 37 miles per gallon.

5. Toyota Tundra

• Total units sold: 78,454
• Starting price: $41,815

Praised by KBB for its impressive resale value, excellent ride quality and solid safety technology, the Toyota Tundra is part of the full-size truck segment. The hybrid version scores a combined 22 miles per gallon, while both non-hybrid models offer a combined 20 miles per gallon.

4. GMC Sierra

• Total units sold: 148,785
• Starting price: $37,700

Described by KBB as notably similar to the Chevrolet Silverado — yet slightly more upscale, the GMC Sierra is part of the full-size truck category. Cab sizes are offered in regular, double or crew, with trim levels running from basic to high-end.

There’s a lot of Ram pickups to choose from — models include Ram 1500, 2500, 3500 and more — and clearly, customers can’t get enough of them.

A full-size truck, the Ram 1500 offers a comfortable ride and generous cabin storage, according to KBB. Another version, the Ram 3500 is equipped with impressive towing capabilities and extravagant upper trims.

Offered in three different models — Silverado 1500, 2500 and 3500 — is a classic.

A half-ton pickup truck, the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 is a comfortable ride, with robust towing ability. Also known for their towing abilities, the three-quarter ton 2500 model and the one-ton 3500 model are offered with a choice of gas or diesel V8 engines — with diesel as the more efficient option, according to KBB.
