Apple is the leader of technology for the modern day world. The company’s products have shaped the way we live, work and play. For those who might suggest that Apple’s offerings cost too much money, here’s something to consider: there are a multitude of ways that someone can utilize Apple products to generate additional sources of personal revenue.

If you are an Apple user or want to be one who earning some additional cash, here are five ways Apple products can help you boost your income.

In contrast, here are three Apple products that are not worth buying.

Create Videos

If you have an iPhone or an iPad or even one of Apple’s desktop or laptop computers, then you also have a full production studio at the tip of your fingers, especially when paired with applications like Filmic Pro and CapCut.

“The iPhone 13 or newer is a powerful tool among content creators,” said Ed Huang, career expert at SideHustles.com. “Most people have no idea that its cinematic mode is quite as good as professional cameras. It’s a perfect helper if one needs to record either TikTok, YouTube videos or Instagram Reels.”

Huang also said Apple products are excellent when it comes to creating cool videos that will “bring deals with brands and make $1,000 to $5,000 per month, after building the audience of course.”

Artistic and Graphic Design

For artists, the combination of the iPad Pro and the Apple Pencil is essentially a printing machine for money, in Huang’s professional opinion.

“Selling digital art or even illustrations is great, but creating really niche products like sticker packs, templates for social media or animated GIF attacks will be seriously hot in demand on Etsy and Fiverr,” Huang explained.

According to Huang, these Apple kinds of products offer a path to passive income, which nets up to $500 to $2,000 every month for some creators.

“What many may not be realizing, though, is that the iPad can actually be used for designing augmented reality with things like Reality Composer, opening up possibilities across even techier niches,” Huang added.

Audio Recording

“The MacBooks scratch the surface of this big iceberg,” Huang said in reference to equipment for podcasters.

“Consider some who have created guided meditations, audio tours or education series for any niche industry — and these could bring in $500 to $1,500 per month through subscription and sponsorship,” Huang explained.

Huang pointed out that professional editing and transcription are really possible if GarageBand is leveraged and in concert with software tools like Descript.

Digital Photography

Huang said another underrated side hustle when it comes to Apple products is photography.

“An iPhone 12 Pro or later can produce professional-grade photography and video, along with some extra accessories such as attachable lenses or gimbals,” Huang explained.

“Most real estate agents, influencers and small businesses need affordable content creators, while iPhone photographers can charge between $100 to $300 per photoshoot,” Huang added. “You can also sell your great snaps to Shutterstock or Adobe Stock for ongoing passive income.”

Teaching Classes

If you have a skill or talent to teach the world, chances are that an Apple product can help get that education out to the world while adding some dollars to your bank account.

“Overall, any Apple device, from iPhone to iPad or MacBook, can become a virtual classroom,” Huang said. “With the possibility of creating presentations with Keynote and the integrated screen recording feature, professionals can actually make video courses or hold workshops on very specialized themes — like coding, marketing or even fitness.”

Selling those courses on platforms like Udemy and Skillshare will get the creators $1,000 to $5,000 per month out of enrollments per Huang’s calculations.
