Whether someone needs to make breakfast quickly for kids who are out of school or host extended family in their home, easy-to-make frozen items can help them stress less when it comes to holiday meals.
According to the PwC Holiday Sentiment Survey, people plan to spend an average of $770 on holiday gifts this season. That doesn’t leave much for grocery shopping. Fortunately, stores like Target offer several affordable frozen staples that can help families put together holiday meals very quickly.
Breakfast
Target offers several frozen breakfast items that feel fresh and high-end after baking. For example, Magnolia Table’s Cinnamon rolls are $11.99 for a pack of four. It’s slightly more expensive than a can of cinnamon rolls, but the flavor is closer to buying cinnamon rolls from a bakery.
Customers can also try spinach and egg white frittatas for $5.99 if they prefer a healthier option.
Appetizers
Target has several appetizer options for those who need to make a lot of food quickly. Purchase two to three packs of spinach and artichoke bites for $5.99 each, or the petite quiche collection, which lets guests try four different types of quiche for $5.99.
Main Dishes
For a main course, it’s hard to beat Marie Callender’s frozen chicken pot pie. The flaky crust makes people feel like they’re eating something from a specialty bakery. At only $3.59 each for the large size, it’s affordable to purchase a few to feed a family for an easy, tasty evening meal.
For those who prefer Italian food, Target also sells an affordable and highly rated chicken parmesan meal from Rao’s. It’s $14.99 and contains three servings. Families can make it in the oven or the microwave for a fast, delicious evening meal.
Sides
Target has a huge selection of frozen sides that make dinnertime faster and easier. Pick up a frozen Stouffer’s mac & cheese for $3.39, or Birds Eye’s frozen garlic butter green beans for $2.69.
Dessert
Lastly, Target does have frozen items for everyone’s favorite part of the meal: dessert. Customers can purchase a chocolate creme pie for $6.49 (currently on sale), or Magnolia Table’s already-made frozen cookie dough for $11.99.
