In many parts of the U.S., a million-dollar home is a luxury few can afford. But in some cities, seven-figure listings are surprisingly common. These markets represent the top tier of real estate, where the price of admission to the high-end housing club starts at $1 million or more. In fact, in these areas, entry-level high-end homes — defined as those in the top 10% of the market — typically cost more than a million bucks.
