The coronavirus pandemic has had a dramatic impact on pretty much every aspect of our lives and the economy, including the housing market. Some states like Alaska have seen very small increases in home values, while other states such as Florida, California and Idaho have seen significant increases in value despite the economic hardship of the past year.
To determine the way the housing market has been changed by the virus, GOBankingRates used Zillow’s Single Family Residence Home Value time series data for all 50 U.S. states and D.C., and then ranked all the states against each other — from smallest percentage change to biggest. All data was collected on and up to date as of Feb. 23, 2021.
Read on to see how the pandemic has impacted the housing market in every state.
