The Florida housing market has started to lose some of its edge. In 2024, housing prices in the Sunshine State fell — not by a huge amount, but enough to spark notice among financial experts, including Dave Ramsey’s team, who wrote about it this past March. As of April 17, 2025, the average value of a home in Florida is $387,464, down 2.5% over the past year.

Though some experts are predicting a housing market crash in Florida, it’s not like Florida has completely tanked in desirability. The state’s population is growing, thanks largely to the financial perks, including no state income tax and a booming job market. So, there’s still great opportunity for home sellers — who should know that some types of homes are particularly attractive to buyers.

According to RedFin, these are the top 10 most popular home features for homebuyers in Florida 2025 — and how much homes that have them sell for. Features are ranked from least to most popular.
