If you’re in the market for a used vehicle, now could be the time to buy. According to data from iSeeCars, there are 20 different makes and models — 9 of them electric vehicles (EVs) — that are slow sellers. While that might sound like a red flag, it could actually be an opportunity to score a deal.
Dealers will be motivated to sell vehicles that linger on the lot for more than 90 to 120 days and offer “more attractive financing terms, or additional incentives that wouldn’t be available for models that have really strong sales,” said Rob Dillan, automotive expert and founder of EVhype.
That means savvy shoppers may save money and find better perks on these slower-moving models, starting with the nearly two dozen vehicles below.

Where Smart Buyers Look
If you’re concerned that vehicles on this list could be slow-selling because there’s an issue with them, that’s a valid thought, but Dillan said there’s nothing to worry about.
“None of the EVs and hybrids on this list are bad products,” Dillan explained. “Often, they’re ahead of where local infrastructure is, or buyers are used to that sort of thing, which means that lags in turnover, lags in sales.”
If you are willing to sacrifice on color, options or even brand prestige, you can buy a car much cheaper. “Slowly but surely, this is where smart buyers look to quietly cash out,” Dillan said.
