This might be a difficult year for those in the market for used vehicles, as prices have risen from the previous year for the first time since 2022, per iSeeCars. Specifically, in March, used car prices rose by 1% (which approximates to $317).

Used car prices fell just over 7% in 2024; the 1% increase in March can be seen as a stabilization of the market. President Donald Trump’s 25% tariffs on imported vehicles and parts is expected to raise car prices by 10% or more, with iSeeCars expecting to see prices of used cars jump by as much as $5,000.
