Ahead of Thanksgiving and the holiday season, several new Costco arrivals are ideal to start factoring into your Turkey Day budget if you feel it’s too early to start shopping just yet.
GOBankingRates referred to the Costco Business Center website to find some of the newest grocery items and picked seven that are worth the money. For clarity, all prices mentioned below are the delivered prices quoted at the Costco Business Center. They may vary slightly in store versus online.Â
Do you plan to shop these seven new Costco grocery items?
Starbucks Organic Winter Blend Whole Bean Coffee
- Price: $21.59
If you want to save extra money this holiday season, swap out regular Starbucks coffee runs and buy a bag of Starbucks winter blend coffee to brew your own cups at home.
Each bag of whole bean coffee contains notes of candied nuts and warm spice and weighs in at 2.5 pounds. Grind the beans to match your preferred brewing method and reseal the bag tightly afterward for continued use.
Coffee-Mate Natural Bliss Liquid Coffee Creamer
- Price: $7.69
Recently, Costco has added several new Coffee-Mate products into its inventory. In its 56-ounce bottle, Coffee-Mate natural bliss coffee creamer is well worth the money compared to how much you’d pay elsewhere.
Let’s use Target as an example. Target carries the same name brand in coffee creamer and prices their 32-ounce containers at $4.99. While this price is considered a reduction from the original price of $5.29, it’s still substantially less creamer than what Costco shoppers receive.
Carr’s Table Water Crackers Variety Pack
- Price: $14.79
If you’re inviting lots of guests over to Thanksgiving or Friendsgiving this year, add a box of Carr’s table water crackers to your Costco shopping cart for pre-snacking purposes.
This variety pack contains six sleeves of crackers — with three original, two pepper and one sesame. Pair with charcuterie board staples.
Fratelli Beretta Calabrese
- Price: $8.99
If you’re buying the Carr’s crackers variety pack, it’s not a bad idea to include Fratelli Beretta calabrese during the same shopping trip.
This new arrival at Costco includes a two-count set of smoky calabrese and has been pre-sliced for your convenience.
SimplyProtein Crispy Bars Variety Pack
- Price: $20.49
Try out a new snack without breaking the bank with SimplyProtein crispy bars. This variety pack of 15 bars includes dark chocolate almond, lemon coconut and peanut butter chocolate flavors — all made using clean ingredients.Â
While $20.49 may seem like a lot to pay for 15 snack bars, it is ultimately cheaper to buy in bulk at Costco. GOBankingRates checked the SimplyProtein website, where a box of four crispy bars retails for $9.29. Buying four boxes with four bars each would cost around $37.16, which is $16.67 more than at Costco.
Bibigo Shrimp Fried Rice
- Price: $11.39
Save money on your takeout bill by shopping for new Bibigo shrimp fried rice.Â
Inside every package are six containers of stir-fried rice that include shrimp, carrots, egg, edamame and red bell pepper. Simply cook in the microwave and dinner (or lunch) is served.
Butterball Turkey Breast Roast
- Price: $18.79
Butterball turkey breast roast is ready to buy at Costco. This Thanksgiving Day staple weighs in at a hefty 4.75 pounds — that’s $3.96 per pound. A gravy packet is also included with your purchase.
