Costs have been rising across the board, which means the price of your favorite fast-food pizza may have gone up too. According to research by Delish, the cost of a large pizza is now $17.99 at Papa Murphy’s, the most expensive pizza chain included in its study. While that’s a hefty price — especially considering it’s a “Take ‘N Bake” pie that you have to bake at home — that does include up to five toppings.
Here’s a look at how the cost compares to the price of a large pizza at eight other popular chains.
Domino’s
A large pizza will cost you $14.99 at Domino’s, a worldwide leader in the pizza space.
Hungry Howie’s
Hungry Howie’s has over 500 locations across 21 states. If you have one near you, you can get a 14-inch cheese pizza for $12.99 with a custom crust flavor of your choosing.
Jet’s Pizza
Known for its Detroit-style pizza, Jet’s has locations in 22 states. Here, a large hand-tossed round pizza costs $15.49.
Little Caesars
A large Hot-N-Ready cheese pizza costs less than $7 at the chain, making Little Caesars the most affordable chain in the ranking.
Marco’s Pizza
Marco’s Pizza has over 1,100 stores across 33 states. At this chain, you can get a large cheese pizza featuring its signature three-cheese blend for $12.99.
Papa John’s
A large cheese pizza costs $15.29 at Papa John’s.
Pizza Hut
A 14-inch cheese pizza costs $14.29 at the ubiquitous pizza chain.
Sam’s Club
The Delish study did not include Costco in its ranking since you can no longer access the food court unless you are a member. Sam’s Club’s food court is still open to everyone, and you can score a large pizza for $8.98. At 16 inches, it’s also the largest pizza included in the study.
