Home Depot is gearing up for spooky season in a big way, having created an entire landing page for Halloween deals at all price points.
So, if you’re looking to get into the spirit of Samhain on a budget, here are a few of the top deals worth snagging before you’re beaten to the punch.
Disney Licensed (Mostly) Halloween Costumes and Decor
If it’s Disney, it’s almost sure to sell out during the Halloween season. Home Depot has you covered, however, with a few interesting offerings.
First, consider this Jack Skellington costume for the kids in your household. Priced at just $30, and including a mask, jumpsuit and detachable bowtie, it’s sure to be a graveyard smash.
Fans of “The Nightmare Before Christmas” might also be interested in this 17″-tall Jack Skellington indoor home decor piece, with the protagonist perched on a scary pumpkin ($34.98). Also available in Oogie Boogie ($39.98), Zero ($34.98) or Sally ($29.98).
For the ladies looking for a classic Disney costume, consider this cute, classic Minnie Mouse outfit for $39.98, complete with a satin-finish red polka dot dress, black belt and matching mouse ears headband.
And while it’s not exactly a Disney-themed costume, fellas looking for a completely creepy costume could do a lot worse than this deluxe “evil jester” ensemble ($49.98) which includes the shirt, pants, sash, headpiece and mask. With very little imagination, one could play it off as an “Alice in Wonderland”-inspired look.
Halloween Lights, Yard Decorations, and Accessories Priced at Less Than $50
Haunted Hill Farm has an extensive lineup of bone-chilling Halloween yard decorations available via Home Depot, with some standouts including: a 5′-tall “Emma the Animated Zombie Housemaid” figure, complete with movement and sound ($39.99 on sale); an all-white 6′-tall reaper, which also moves and speaks ($47.35); a much smaller 9″-sized “Annie, The Demon Baby” animatronic doll ($49.99), which is highly rated by buyers; and “Grendel” the unsettling animatronic clown ($49.99), complete with “It”-like balloon and colorful garb.
Meanwhile, Home Accents supplies a variety of Halloween lighting options — at just over 68′ in length, 300 multicolor LED lights on a string ($19.99), also available in seasonal orange or purple at the same price. For about the same price (just a penny less, at $19.98), pick up a set of four LED spider pathway markers, or a four-pack of LED skulls serving the same purpose.
In terms of yard accessories, a five-pack of foam Halloween tombstones comes in at $44.99 per set, a five-piece assortment of posable skeletons (with hanging cords) retails for $34.99, a cute-creepy black cat pumpkin holder at $30, and a Tim Burton-esque welcome sign / stake, bat included, for $34.98
Of course, if you’re planning to trick-or-treat instead of staying at home handing out candy, the 2-gal. Home Depot paint bucket ($2.98) — in an appropriate hue of bright Halloween orange — would allow you to comfortable carry a load of treats, and is also useful for DIY projects after Oct. 31 draws to a close.
