If you’re looking to get the best price when you sell your home, Barbara Corcoran has some advice that may help. The real estate mogul and investor on ABC’s “Shark Tank” shared a simple tip: Buy a big rug for your living room.
“Do you know that the buyer judges the space in your house by the size of the rug in your living room?” Corcoran shared in a LinkedIn post. “If it’s large, they think you have a big house. If it’s small and cozy, it’s very nice for you to live in, but they’re not going to pay much money for that. Get a big rug.”
