Are you looking for sandy beaches, warm weather, endless food options and a variety of activities? If so, heading to Mexico might be the vacation you and your family have dreamed of. Every resort will offer something different, from connecting rooms to kids’ clubs.
If you’re like most families, choosing the right all-inclusive is a tough decision. Factor in a specific budget, and your Mexico vacation continues to get pushed back. Here’s a look at five all-inclusive resorts in Mexico for under $500 per night for a family of four. Get ready to book your next vacation!
Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya
Are you looking for a budget-friendly hotel that offers a kids club? If so, Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya in Puerto Aventuras, Mexico, might be your next destination. This hotel has two resorts on the same property: a Hacienda section for adults and kids and a Heaven section for adults only.
When you aren’t spending time with your family on the private beach or feasting at one of eight dining establishments, you can enjoy bottomless cocktails by the pool while your kids play at the Hard Rock Roxity Kids Club. Rates start at just $375 per night for a family of four.
“With separate areas for families and adults, the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya provides the best of both worlds,” said Carolin Pilligrath, seasoned travel expert and founder of Breathing Travel. “While parents luxuriate at the Rock Spa, restaurants and adults-only Heaven area, tennis court and yoga lessons, the kids can enjoy the water sports, such as kayaking, snorkeling [and] swimming. There is also a kids club for activities and diving school.”
Hilton Cancun
If you’re like many travelers, you want a modern and sleek hotel. Well, that’s just what the Hilton Cancun resort in Cancun, Mexico offers. Open since 2021, Hilton Cancun has a variety of family-friendly offerings sure to appeal to everyone in your group. From all-you-can-eat ice cream and family pools to water playgrounds and kids’ clubs, Hilton Cancun might check all of your boxes.
In addition to two large infinity pools and 24-hour room service, your family can choose from five on-site restaurants. Hilton Cancun pricing starts out around $400 per night for a family of four. These prices get even better when you use Hilton Honors rewards points.
Paradisus Playa del Carmen
Everyone wants to be treated like royalty on their vacation, right? The luxury experience is exactly what Paradisus Playa del Carmen in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, offers. Families staying at here can take advantage of the warm Caribbean coast or swim in one of the many on-site pools.
Trying to entertain your kids? There’s a kids club and daily activities, like dance classes and crafts. With high-end restaurants and quick buffets, you have endless food options. Pricing for Paradisus Playa del Carmen starts at $300 per night for a family of four. However, you can upgrade to the Nikte package, opening the door to a premium suite and VIP pool, for $420 per night.
Moon Palace Cancun
Are you looking for a little separation from your kids? If so, conjoining rooms at Moon Palace Cancun in Cancun, Mexico might be a great option for your all-inclusive vacation. Moon Palace Cancun has two sections on the grounds: Sunrise and Nizuc. If your kids are still young, you might opt for Nizuc, which offers family suites, connecting bedrooms and family pools.
Are your kids a little older, like teens or tweens? You might choose to stay in the Sunrise part of the resort, allowing you to enjoy a surf simulator, lounge tables, adult games, a nightclub and a kids club open until 10 p.m. Rates for Moon Palace Cancun start at $465, with additional discounts if you prepay your stay.
“This beautiful resort with exotic aesthetics is the perfect oasis that will disconnect you from the outside world,” said Pilligrath. “There are amazing amenities for every member of the family at this enormous resort. The water park, bowling alley, Playroom, table tennis and mini-golf will keep kids occupied for hours.”
Pilligrath added, “I want to highlight something very few resorts have, a special restaurant for kids, the ‘kids wonderland bistro’ Circus restaurant. This is an all-inclusive restaurant for kids, designed by kids! The entire theme is circus and the whole room makes you feel like all you have to see to believe you’re in an actual circus is an elephant!”
Allegro Cozumel
Don’t need all of the amenities large resorts offer? If so, Allegro Cozumel in Cozumel, Mexico, might be a contender on your list. Allegro Cozumel is a four-star resort that offers a variety of entertainment, a water park, tennis courts, saunas and more. There’s bound to be something for everyone in the family to enjoy.
The best part is that rates start at $122 per night. Other popular amenities for your family to enjoy include a fitness center, spa and a private beach. If you’re ready to save some money and relax on the beach in Mexico, consider Allegro Cozumel.
