Summer vacation doesn’t have to break the bank. If you know where to look, you could save big money on your summer vacation this year. With these deals on planes, trains and park admissions, you can stretch your dollars further and make this Summer one to remember. 

Frontier Airlines

You probably already know Frontier Airlines offers low fares, but these summer flights might be lower than your last grocery bill. 

• Philadelphia, PA (PHL) to San Juan, PR (SJU) Departing June 16, 2025 from $92
• Trenton, NJ (TTN) to Orlando, FL (MCO) Departing July 22, 2025 from $49
• Houston, TX (IAH) to Denver, CO (DEN) Departing Aug. 27, 2025 from $39

If you plan on traveling a ton this summer on a budget, you might save money on flights with Frontier’s All-You-Can-Fly Go Wild! Pass for $399. Before you purchase the pass, make sure you sign up for the Frontier Miles program for free, which can help you earn Elite Status with the airline. That status could help you earn perks like free bags or seat selection. 

Southwest

Southwest doesn’t just have deals on flights. They have vacation deals and discounts on hotel bookings as well. For example, when you book a Southwest vacation package of five nights or more to Mexico, you’ll save $200 if you book between May 6, 2025 to June 9, 2025 and travel between May 7, 2025 and Dec. 31, 2025. Southwest also has discounts on hotel stays for up to 20% off until Sept. 30, 2025. 

Amtrak Discounts and Vacation Packages

If air travel isn’t your thing, you could always go by train and catch some beautiful scenery along the way. Amtrak almost always has a deal on tickets, with Seniors, military, students and children under 12 receiving some form of discount on train tickets. In special cases, you’ll save even more than the standard discount during Amtrak’s flash sale. 

On certain vacation packages, you’ll save up to $600 on a rail vacation. For example, you could book the New Orleans Ultimate Getaway rail vacation for five days at $309 per person. That includes four nights of hotel accommodations, a swamp and bayou tour, a steamboat cruise, dinner at a local restaurant and more. There’s also a four-day Niagara Falls vacation package starting at $359 per person. 

National Park Pass

If your summer travel centers around the great outdoors, a National Park Pass will save you money on park entry fees. For $80 (and a $5 processing fee), you’ll be able to enter participating National Parks across the U.S. for an entire year. 

Some parks, like Bryce Canyon National Park, have a $20 per-person fee. But with your annual pass, you can get yourself and another three people in at no charge. So, one trip to a national park with four people could make your annual pass worth it in one go. 

Costco Disneyland Deal

Do you live on the West Coast and have a Costco membership? Now’s your time to shine. Costco recently released a three-day park hopper ticket package at Costco locations in the Disneyland area. The park pass package is $449.99 and includes a three-day Disneyland park hopper ticket, a Lightning Lane multipass and a $30 Disney dining card.

Compared to standard pricing, you’ll save up to $180 per person. Plus, the pass is valid for use from May 20 through Dec. 19, 2025 and can be used for Halloween, 70th Anniversary and Christmas celebrations at Disneyland. Costco shoppers can purchase up to 20 passes so everyone in the family can take advantage of this deal.
