Costco savings go well beyond what you can find in stores. You can buy your car through Costco or book a vacation to some of the most desirable locations in the world. And while most of the travel you can book through Costco comes at a relatively low price, you can also find splurge vacations that offer luxury amenities and unique experiences.
During the most recent Costco earnings call, Gary Millerchip, the company’s executive vice president and chief financial officer, revealed that the most expensive cruise package the warehouse club sold over the past year cost $293,000 — here’s what’s included in that price.
Costco’s Most Expensive Cruise of 2024
It’s long been reported that many wealthy people enjoy shopping at Costco, and this cruise booking is clearly evidence of that. The $293,000 price tag was for a 150-day around-the-world cruise starting from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, that made stops in places like the Galapagos Islands and Easter Island. The cost was for two people to stay in the luxurious Owner’s Suite cabin.
Costco often throws in extra incentives when you book through the company, and even at this price point, this booking was no exception. Millerchip said that the price included a shipboard credit of $13,000 and a Costco shop card worth $25,000.

You can book a 14-night cruise aboard the Sun Princess starting at $2,461 per person. The cruise makes stops throughout Greece, Italy and Turkey, including Crete, Istanbul, Mykonos, Kotor and Sicily.
