McDonald’s Will Soon Give Away Free French Fries Every Friday Through the Remainder of 2023

“Do you want FREE fries with that?” Keep that phrase the next time you’re thinking of ordering those salty sticks from the Golden Arches every Friday from now until the end of the year.
The future of retail might very well lie through the adoption of mobile commerce apps, and as the world’s largest fast food restaurant chain knows, you have to offer something your e-customers love in return for their loyalty and continued support.
Not for the first time, McDonald’s is having a free food promotion. Starting Friday, October 27 through December 29, you can get yourself a free medium order of fries with any app purchase of at least $1 made on the next 10 Fridays.
Rewards members can get one free order of fries every Friday (one per day) via an opening prompt on the McDonald’s app or by searching the deals tab. No concurrent app deals can be used on Fridays if you’re going for the free fries.
For those looking to adventure up their fries, McDonald’s debuted two new dipping sauces two weeks prior: a sweet and spicy jam sauce and a mambo sauce.
“The sweet and spicy jam sauce is similar to a pepper jelly,” People notes. “It has a bit of a fruit forward flavor with a hint of spice from cayenne and tongue-tingling Szechuan peppercorns. The mambo sauce created by McDonald’s is inspired by the popular barbecue-style sauce found in Washington D.C. and Chicago.”
