These are some of the best electronic deals at Costco this spring — online and in stores.
SimpliSafe Security System

A home security system is great to have, even if you don’t necessarily own your home. If you do own property, however, getting a professionally monitored system installed on the premises could get you a homeowners insurance discount.
And if it doesn’t? You still benefit from the peace of mind knowing you’ve got motion sensors, cameras, video doorbells, and the works keeping your home — and family — safe from potential intruders.
Costco sells several types of home security systems, so if you’re a member there, you could pick up something at a decent price. Take the 13-piece SimpliSafe Home Security Kit as an example.
“This home security system is smart, it’s easy to set up and there’s no contract required to use it. At Costco, it’s a steal at $249, $100 off retail,” said David Bakke, consumer shopping expert at DollarSanity.
It has largely positive reviews as well with a 4.6 star rating. It comes with complete control via the SimpliSafe app, has 24-7 monitoring, and is compatible with other smart home systems.
This kit includes the base station, a smart alarm wireless indoor security camera, a smash-safe keypad, a wireless outdoor security camera, entry sensors for your windows and doors, and motion sensors.
LG 35″ Widescreen Computer Monitor

While not on sale, LG’s 35″ UltraWide Computer Monitor only costs $349.99 and is well worth the price if the over 3,000 positive customer reviews are any indication.
“This is an amazing monitor if you need one for home use,” said Bakke. “It’s huge, it’s curved for viewing pleasure, and it’s HD.”
This monitor features 3440 x 1440 resolution, a 100 hertz refresh rate and a 5ms response time. It also has AMD FreeSync technology, which cuts down on issues like input latency, stuttering during highly intensive gameplay or videos, and screen tearing.
And if all of that isn’t enough, this monitor also includes a display port, USB 3.0, and HDMI cables. Plus, it’s eligible for free shipping and handling when purchased online.
Apple MacBook Pro Laptop

Klipsch Wireless Subwoofer

If you want to upgrade your home audio system, check out the Klipsch Wireless Subwoofer from Costco. It has a classic cube-shaped design and offers solid performance at a reasonable price point.
It also has a wireless transmitter, meaning you won’t have to worry about organizing a bunch of cords. Despite being wireless, however, it syncs smoothly and automatically to prevent any delays or degraded bass performance.
Normally, it costs $249.99. But right now, it’s $50 off and only costs $199.99.
Samsung Galaxy Watch 6

Samsung is one of those brands that partners with Costco and often has discounts, so it’s worth checking out what’s on offer.
“From my professional experience, I would specifically look into [Costco’s] offers on brands like Samsung and HP, which have historically partnered with Costco for exclusive deals,” said Russell Rosario, an industry analyst and the co-founder of Profit Leap. “Checking back regularly and keeping an eye on the store’s coupon books and online deals can lead to significant savings.”
