What do cutting boards, Starbucks coffee and office chairs have in common? The answer is it saves you more money to buy them at Costco this September than at any other supermarket or big-box retailer.
GOBankingRates reviewed some of the new items for sale on the Costco and Costco Business Center websites and pulled six items that are cheaper to shop there than anywhere else. Keep reading to see which six new arrivals made the September Costco shopping list.
Starbucks Iced Coffee
- Price: $11.39
Fans of Starbucks iced coffee in the medium roast flavor will be thrilled to see they can buy their favorite morning beverage in bulk at Costco.Â
Each set of two 48-ounce coffee bottles costs $11.39 which comes out to paying around $5.70 per bottle. And even though Walmart comes pretty close in rivaling that price tag with its $5.98 iced coffee, it’s still not as cheap as Costco.
Kirkland Signature Sous Vide Egg Bites
- Price: $13.59
It’s not déjà vu. The Kirkland Signature sous vide egg bites, last seen in a recent GOBankingRates’ roundup of the best Kirkland Signature items to buy at Costco in September, are also getting an inclusion in this piece.Â
Why the double nomination? Besides being a new arrival, these egg bites are a cheaper dupe that rivals the Starbucks breakfast menu bites. It’s a whole lot cheaper to buy a bulk set of five individually packaged bites than à la carte at Starbucks. Choose from the egg white with cheese and roasted red pepper or uncured bacon and gouda.
Coffee Mate Liquid Coffee Creamer
- Price: $6.69
Non-dairy coffee creamer fans, rejoice. Coffee Mate’s liquid coffee creamer in non-dairy is now available at Costco. This new arrival comes in the French vanilla flavor, weighs about 66 ounces and contains zero sugar.
Best of all, it’s still cheaper to buy at Costco than another big-box store. Target carries the same coffee creamer brand in 64 ounces for $7.79, which means Costco shoppers get more bang for their buck.
Henckels Cutting Boards
- Price: $24.99
If you spot the three-piece set of Henckels cutting boards during your next Costco run, add them to your shopping cart. Not only is this new arrival essential for the upcoming holiday cooking season, it’s so much cheaper to buy them at Costco.Â
Currently, Amazon has Henckels cutting boards on sale for $32.85. That’s close to $8 in savings. However, if you look at the original listed price on Amazon, these cutting boards typically retail at $86 for the trio. When we do the math, this means shoppers save close to $61 getting their cutting boards at Costco.
Ciara Bentwood Office Chair
- Price: $139.99
Shoppers that need a new office chair will be excited to see the Ciara Bentwood office chair at Costco.Â
This new arrival costs $139.99 and is a near-replica of Living Spaces’ Ronnie faux black leather desk chair which retails for $175. Shopping the Costco version puts a cool $35 back into shoppers’ wallets.
Greyson Open Modular Console
- Price: $249.99
GOBankingRates did a little price matching to see what the state of modular console costs looks like at other retailers compared to Costco.Â
The new Greyson open modular console measures at 32″ and has a distinctive look with its adjustable shelves. However, it’s still a lot cheaper than similar pieces in Pottery Barn’s Dillon modular collection (which start at over $599) or Wayfair’s Joss & Main console table on sale for $409 (and regularly $549).
