For many middle-class families, SUVs are a must — they’re roomy and efficient and most are loaded with an abundance of safety features. That said, they can also be somewhat expensive — and they likely will get even more expensive due to tariff-related price increases that are expected throughout 2025. Given the fact that middle-class families typically earn between roughly $50,000 and $150,000 annually, a number of SUVs can be financially out of reach.
Helpfully, iSeeCars recently published a list of the 10 cheapest midsize SUVs to drive in 2025. The list was determined not just by low prices but by the average annual miles the SUVs are driven per year. Despite the fact that midsize SUVs cost far more than smaller models as well as cars, the SUVs on this list are all affordably prices for middle-class budgets.
