Laurel Jacketti Funk is an entrepreneur and freelance writer originally from Northeastern Pennsylvania now living outside NYC.  Laurel graduated at the top of her business class from the Pennsylvania State University, earning a B.S. in business administration, focusing on marketing and management. During her college tenure, Laurel researched cutting-edge marketing and business strategies in London and Ireland while studying abroad. She grew up in a household of an award-winning writer and journalist, and so, a love of writing runs through her veins and energizes her work.  Before graduating, she worked as a co-editor and writer for her family’s business, one that she helped co-create.
