The most valuable brand in the world is currently Apple, with a valuation that clears $500 billion, according to a recent study by TradingPedia. The three most valuable brands are all located in the U.S., though many Asia-based companies have been gaining value over the past year, the study found.
To find the value of brands from around the world, TradingPedia took into account the expected financial returns over its useful life, discounted for market uncertainty and specific asset risks.
Based on these calculations, these are the 20 most valuable brands in the world.
