The NFL has turned into a year-round league, with news and drama dominating the sports blogs and channels, even when the games are over.
Sure, some teams are still on the road to the Super Bowl, but for everyone else, the focus turns to the draft, free agency and roster overhaul.
Free agency is currently scheduled to begin March 17, but teams are expected to have a lot less money to spend, after the NFL took a huge hit in 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The 2020 salary cap was $198.2 million, but the 2021 number is expected to drop to $175 million. Expect offers to top free agents to be much lower than in past years.
Using free agency rankings from Pro Football Focus and The Athletic, as well as salary information from Spotrac.com, GOBankingRates compiled the top 11 NFL free agents who are up for big money this offseason. Read on to find out which star footballers could be in for a big pay raise.
