The used car market dipped significantly throughout 2022, 2023 and 2024 as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. With car production dramatically reduced in 2020 and 2021 thanks to the pandemic, there were simply far fewer vehicles to transition to the used car arena.
That has begun to change in 2025, though, as used car prices have been increasing thanks to higher demand. In fact, as iSeeCars has noted, used car prices have arced from an average $2,406 loss to a $630 gain from 2024 to 2025, with that upward trend expected to continue.
While some used vehicle models are still struggling, many are surging. Audi models (specifically A5, Q5, S4 and S5) and Porsches (with the Cayenne, 718 Cayman and 718 Boxster speeding past other models) have made broad gains in value since 2024. Curious which 1- to 5-year-old used cars have had the biggest price increases since 2024? Read on to find out.
