As iSeeCars recently reported, American consumers much prefer SUVs and trucks to passenger cars. However, SUVS and trucks lack the fuel efficiency and the easy handling of a coupe or a sedan. Regardless of the vehicle type a car shopper is looking for — be it big-bodied SUVs or compact passenger cars — reliability should be a premium.
With that in mind, iSeeCars compiled a list of the longest-lasting passenger cars for those on the market for a smaller ride. These cars are defined by their chances of lasting up to 250,000 miles of reliable usage, especially when compared to the average shelf-life (or, rather, road-life) of comparable passenger cars.
1. Lexus IS

- Compared to average: 10.6x
