In 2025, luxury trucks are becoming more affordable, creating an opportunity for buyers to experience their dream machines. This shift will broaden access to premium features, bringing luxury within reach for a wider range of budgets.
This year, the average price for a new truck has soared past $50,000, CarEdge reported, leaving many potential buyers on the sidelines — and luxury trucks can cost far more.
But with excess inventory and keen competition, manufacturers are fighting back to lure consumers with discounts. If you’re searching for a luxury truck with performance and comfort entwined but don’t want to spend so much, 2025 might be the year for you to buy one.Â
2025 Ford F-150 XLT
America’s best-selling truck, the Ford F-150, is about to offer some notable price cuts at midrange prices for 2025. The Ford F-150 XLT starts at $49,825 today, but in 2025, it will be as low as $47,590, down $2,235 on the same vehicle the year before, according to Motor1.
Ford needs to price its truck competitively if it’s going to be successful in the face of competition from Tesla and Chevrolet. This is the only method to preserve market share during a challenging economic climate, Motor1 wrote.
To lower prices, Ford has stripped some of the features from mid-range trims to save on costs; however, it still has key performance capabilities.
Tesla Cybertruck
The base price for the Tesla Cybertruck has become more affordable: A removal of the $20,000 Foundation Series package has cut its price to $79,990. The change means that customers can now buy the all-wheel drive without having to reserve it previously, and this has been made available to a wider audience.
The Cybertruck quickly became the best-selling full-size electric pickup truck in America, with over 28,000 units delivered through September 2024 and production ramping up.
Jeep Gladiator
Jeep Gladiator 2025 has seen a significant price slash, with cuts varying from $2,295 to $8,330 across the various trims, The Car Connection reported.
According to the automaker, its higher-end models, Mojave and Rubicon, are now $52,995 less expensive — much less than the previous prices. But this price ensures the Gladiator is a more competitive offering.
The 2025 Gladiator also includes upgrades, such as standard power door locks and windows, as well as new paint choices. While attracting adventure seekers, the Gladiator’s breathtaking combination of off-road capability and modern amenities remains.
2025 Ford F-150 STX
The 2025 Ford F-150 STX now starts at $44,910 — $1,185 below last year, according to Motor1. An excellent bang for your buck, this trim features a standard 2.7 liter EcoBoost V6 cranking out 325 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque.
A modern amenity-equipped STX comes with a 12-inch touchscreen, keyless entry and 20-inch wheels — an attractive array of features in a relatively cheap truck with enough capability, but not the premium price.
There are also optional upgrades, such as a 5.0-liter V8 engine to increase towing capacity. The F-150 STX continues to be a strong player in the competitive full-size truck market, thanks to Ford’s Co-Pilot 360 safety technology.
