But let’s face it: Vacations aren’t cheap, and it’s a little too easy to go over budget ordering endless paella and Sangria. To avoid this fate, consider an all-inclusive resort, where convenience and upfront costs are the name of the game. And the best part? You don’t even have to sacrifice quality to do it.
Here are three all-inclusive resorts in Spain that are surprisingly luxurious for the price.
H10 Taburiente Playa
On the east coast of La Palma in Spain’s Canary Islands stands H10 Taburiente Playa, a beautiful, 4-star, all-inclusive resort. Rated an impressive 8.9 out of 10 by guests via Booking.com, the property is just 984 feet from Los Carajos Beach and boasts three bars, three outdoor pools, tennis courts, a sauna, babysitting services and air-conditioned rooms with private balconies.
And if you decide to venture out, the resort is located just one mile from Brena Baja, an idyllic hillside town with magnificent diving locations, scenic hiking trails and black, volcanic sand perfect for some Insta opportunities.
Per Jack Bolton of World Wide Schooling, a couple can stay at H10 Taburiente Playa for approximately $1,100 for the whole week, or roughly $183 per night — not too shabby.
Barcelo Hamilton
Who said all-inclusive options were only for families with kids? Sometimes adults want downtime with unlimited booze! Located in Menorca, one of Spain’s Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean Sea, Barcelo Hamilton has been rated 8.4 out of 10 by Travelocity users.
With all-inclusive options starting around roughly $300 per night, per Travelocity, for a Superior Double Room, Barcelo Hamilton offers a quieter, more serene vibe than some of its kid-friendly counterparts.
According to Andrea Affinati, founder and travel expert at Voyaged Magazine, “The highlight is an insane rooftop terrace with multiple hot tubs and great views of Mahon Bay. Plus, Es Castell, a cute little town, is just a short walk away.”
The 4-star property also includes a fitness center, full spa and trendy, art deco architecture.
Atlantic Holiday Hotel
Located in Tenerife, the largest of Spain’s Canary Islands, the Atlantic Holiday Hotel is one of Spain’s cheapest all-inclusive getaways, with a five-night stay starting at approximately $838, or $168 per night, according to Booking.com. But be advised: Book early, because word has gotten out and space fills fast!
The property offers luxurious, seaside studios and one-bedroom apartments where guests can listen to the sound of the waves before dining in the international restaurant alongside live music. Rated an 8.6 out of 10 by Booking.com, the 4-star resort has a fitness center, tennis courts, two salt water swimming pools, a game room and a wellness center. Plus, tourist favorites Teide National Park and El Duque Castle are a hop, skip and a jump away.
