While it may seem like the cost of everything is rising, hotel prices are actually dropping in some popular U.S. travel destinations. According to Hotel.com’s latest Hotel Price Index, average rates fell in 16 top domestic cities from 2023 to 2024 — with five destinations seeing drops of 6% or more.
