Kohl’s is a special kind of store, where there is a little something for everyone, yet it is not going to overload you with too many varieties of items available. What Kohl’s really gives shoppers is the opportunity to get great money-saving deals on fashionable items for themselves, their families and their homes. This year will be no different, except that there is a whole new line of products going to be available at this one of a kind retailer.

Here are a few best new items coming to Kohl’s early this year.

Private Label Activewear Line With Inclusive Size Range

Kohl’s is launching a new private-label activewear line using premium fabrics, sustainable materials and inclusive sizing from XXS to 5XL, according to Albert Varkki, retail expert and co-founder of Von-Baer

“It is expected to meet style and performance for the emerging niche of active and fitness-conscious shoppers,” Varkki said. “This will be unique in the affordable activewear category because, unlike the standard activewear, this will have features such as UV protection, odor-resistant fabric and biodegradable packaging.”

Personalized Fragrance Station

“Kohl’s will be rolling out an in-store fragrance personalization station where customers will get to create their own customized perfumes or colognes,” Varkki explained, adding that the service will be offered in partnership with the colognes brands that are currently featured in the Sephora shop-in-shop.

“This experiential offering will be both affordable and exclusive, allowing the customer to have a unique, luxury-inspired fragrance at a fraction of the cost of bespoke perfumeries,” Varkki added.

Pre-Owned Luxury Accessories Program

“Kohl’s is piloting a resale program that will sell authenticated pre-owned luxury items, such as handbags, watches and sunglasses,” Varkki said. “They will be sold online and in select Kohl’s stores through an alliance with a third-party resale platform.”

With the hype of sustainable shopping, he pointed out that this program benefits Kohl’s to tap into the resale market, in a manner that allows customers access to luxury brands at affordable prices while cementing the stance of commitment towards sustainability.

Plant-Based Home Cleaning Essentials

“Kohl’s will launch an exclusive house brand that is going to feature a new line of eco-friendly home cleaning products,” Varkki explained. “It features biodegradable sponges, reusable cleaning cloths and also plant-based detergents, all at around $15.”

Varkki pointed out how this line from Kohl’s is launching to target those eco-sensitive families who want to do something about lowering the family’s carbon footprint at a value-to-purchase price.

Self-Care Product Line for Men

Kohl’s looks to include new lines in the category of wellness, which has been a long time in the making when it comes to self-care products for men. However, this year, that all changes.

Varkki explained how the retailer aims to introduce a line of self-care products that dedicatedly target men, including grooming tools, stress relief kits and skincare kits.

“The main idea is to prioritize high-class formulation but at a reasonable price,” Varkki added. “The market for male grooming is on the upsurge and so this will provide Kohl’s with a less crowded but rapidly growing market.”
