Spring is the perfect time to freshen up your home or wardrobe, and if you know where to shop, you don’t need to spend a lot of money to do so. GOBankingRates compared prices at Walmart, Target, Costco and Kohl’s to find the best deals you can get this season on popular home goods, electronics, clothing and toys.

Give your bedroom an easy makeover with a new California king-sized comforter set. Head to Walmart for the best deal on a seven-piece set, with the Nanshing Reina 7-Piece Bedding Comforter Set on sale for about $60. The set includes a comforter, bed skirt, sham and four decorative pillows. Similar sets at Target and Kohl’s cost about $100. Need to buy a gift for a child? The Baby Alive Super Snacks Snackin’ Noodles Baby can provide hours of entertainment. Kids can feed the doll noodles, clean her diaper and brush her hair, plus she can speak English or Spanish. The doll is marked down at Walmart, where you can buy it for almost $20 off the regular price. Target sells a similar doll for $39.99. If you want to buy it from Target, make sure you know all the secret ways to save when shopping at Target.
Dyson Ball Animal 2 Vacuum
Where to buy it: Walmart
Cost: $374.99
It’s spring cleaning season, and a new vacuum can help you get the job done. The Dyson Ball Animal 2 vacuum has extra-strong suction and is designed to handle pet hair. Walmart has the best deal on the vacuum: It’s on sale for $125 off its original price of $499.99. The vacuum cleaner is currently out of stock on Walmart.com, but you can sign up for an in-stock alert to get notified when the vacuum is available for purchase again. Both Target and Kohl’s sell the vacuum for $499.99.
Although Walmart has the cheaper vacuum, you might be surprised how grocery prices compare at Target and Walmart.
Fitbit Alta HR
Where to buy it: Walmart
Cost: $129.95
The Fitbit Alta HR tracks your steps, distance, calories burned and sleep patterns. It also automatically logs workouts and gives you reminders to move throughout the day. The best deal on the tracker is at Walmart, which sells the Alta HR for $129.95. It costs almost the same at Kohl’s ($129.99) and about $30 more at Target, which has the Fitbit for sale for $159.95. But not all products are more expensive at Target. In fact, there are 14 items that are always cheaper at Target.
Fujifilm Instax Mini Camera
Where to buy it: Walmart
Cost: $56.78
The Fujifilm Instax Mini 9 is a compact instant camera that’s designed with selfie-takers in mind. The camera comes equipped with a selfie mirror and a macro lens for close-ups. A similar camera at Target is on sale for $59.99.
Google Home Mini
Where to buy it: Kohl’s
Cost: $78 for a two-pack
Google anything with just your voice with the Google Home Mini. You also can use the device to control other smart-home-enabled devices, such as lights and other electronics, and you can use the speaker to stream music, movies and TV. Kohl’s is selling a two-pack of the Google Home Mini for $20 off the regular price, so you can keep one and give one as a gift, or place them in different areas of your home so you have access to Google wherever you are. Target currently has an online deal for $10 off when you buy two, which is still not as good as the Kohl’s deal. The Google Home Mini costs $49 each at Walmart.
Keurig Coffee Maker
Where to buy it: Target
Cost: $149.99
The Keurig K525 Single-Serve K-Cup Coffee Maker brews coffee in under a minute, allows you to control the temperature of your coffee, features an extra-large reservoir that can brew nine cups without a refill and is programmable to brew your perfect cup. The high-tech coffee machine is on sale at Target for $20 off the original price. Walmart is selling a similar machine, but that store’s version is marked down only about $9, so head to the Target store for better savings.
KitchenAid Classic 4.5-Quart Mixer
Where to buy it: Walmart
Cost: $189
The KitchenAid Classic mixer has 10 speeds for all your cooking and baking needs, and the 4.5-quart mixer is large enough to make six dozen cookies in a single batch. If you’re looking to upgrade your kitchen with this classic appliance, head to Walmart for the best deal: The retailer is offering $40 off the regular price. A 4.5-quart KitchenAid mixer costs $10 more at Target, and the least expensive KitchenAid mixer at Costco costs $249.99.
LG 49-Inch 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV
Where to buy it: Walmart
Cost: $396.99
The LG 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV features a High Dynamic Range experience, rich colors and comes equipped with more than 50 free streaming channels. The TV’s original price is $699.99. Kohl’s offers the TV for $399.99, but Kohl’s assesses a $25 shipping charge for online orders. Walmart offers free shipping. The same TV at Target costs $399.99.
Nike Revolution 4 Men’s Running Shoes
Where to buy it: Kohl’s
Cost: $44.99
Warmer weather is a great motivation to kick-start a running habit, and if you’re in need of a new pair of running shoes, your best bet is to head to Kohl’s. The retailer is selling Nike Revolution 4 running shoes for $15.01 off the original price. The shoes are lightweight and breathable, plus they have a flex groove traction sole for enhanced grip and mobility. The same pair of shoes costs $71.85 at Walmart.
Pyrex 18-Piece Storage Set
Where to buy it: Walmart
Cost: $29.89
Step up your food storage with a new set of glass storage containers. Walmart is selling a Pyrex 18-piece storage set for $29.89, discounted from the original price of $33.46. You can find similar deals at Target and Costco, which are selling 18-piece Pyrex glass storage sets for $29.99. However, Kohl’s has the worst deal: $49.99 for a 14-piece set.

Looking to refresh your spring wardrobe with some basics? Target has the best deal on basic crew neck tees, with the Meriwether Crew Neck Short Sleeve T-Shirt on sale for $5, marked down from its regular price of $8. Walmart has basic crew-neck T-shirts on sale starting at $5.49, while a basic T-shirt at Kohl’s sells for $7.99.
Zero Gravity Lounge Chair
Where to buy it: Target
Cost: $41.40
Spring is the perfect time to update your patio and outdoor furniture, and fortunately, many major retailers are having sales on these items. Target has the best deal on zero gravity lounge chairs: The retailer’s Threshold-brand chair is marked down from $46 to $41.40. The chair comes in four colors, reclines and has a soft head cushion for extra comfort. It also folds up compactly for easy storage. Walmart is selling a similar chair, the Caravan Sports Zero Gravity Chair in black, for $44.99, and Costco has a Caravan Sports chair as well, but is selling it for $49.99.
